2013 V8 Won't Start in the Cold
I live in MN and twice in the last week my truck would not start in the morning after a cold night. The battery and starter were doing their job but the engine was acting like it wasn't getting enough fuel. Both times this happened it fired up and ran fine after it was brought into a heated garage for a few hours. I know that fuse 27 can overheat and cause problems but there are no signs of any issue with it on my truck. There have been zero problems while the truck is running and no codes to pull. Any help would be appreciated.

Off the top of my head... Water/ condensation in the fuel or bad gas? Have you filled up at the same gas station? If so, try a different one to eliminate that variable. How old is the battery? Does it have enough cold cranking amps? Have you checked the spark plugs? Do you have an engine block heater and use it? That may help.

I had a relay (under the hood/above the radiator) that was causing me a occasional no start issues during the winter (would turn over but no start) a few months after I 1st bought my truck new.
I dont recall what 1 it was now but I was at a store at night & found the issue after swapping the relays around in the fuse box.
I did replace the relay though later
When I found I had fuel pump module issues (roughly 113k miles) was when sometimes the engine would shut down after the engine started up.
My 09 has the newer plastic version module.

After the truck was sitting out in the cold at my mechanic's shop he pulled it in and it wouldn't start. He removed the fpdm and put it infront of a space heater and plugged it back in and it worked, then he took it off again and stuck it in a snow bank in a bag for a couple of hours and plugged it back in and it wouldn't start. Something in the fpdm doesn't make a proper connection when it is cold.
