2013 should I change my trans fluid?

Went out today and drove the truck around and got the trans up to temp and checked the fluid - only got burned once lol. Anyways the fluid seems low but the color doesn't look too bad. What do you all think - I should be fine to change it, right?

good idea since I’m adding a plug anyway. Where exactly did you drill the hole?

As already said, drain it. You don’t know how severe the use was prior to you.

lol thanks for the push. I've never done anything with a trans before and it is intimidating after my last truck's trans went out.

LOL. Not much harder than changing oil.

Just make sure you put plenty of cardboard down.

i drilled on the back side on that small spot that bumps down farther.

I took a pic but it wont let me upload for some reason.
