Yea if you haven't done it, I wouldn't. It has been nothing but issues.

I haven't contacted the main Ford company as of yet. I have been working on getting a time line together and making sure I have all the information in one place before I call.

To me one of 2 things seem to be going on

1. something completely unrelated to the Recall

2. transmission lead frame is going bad

Didn't they do a recall on the 2011-2012 transmission lead frames but not on the 2013?

back in 2016 the 11-12 had a downshift recall and extended coverage put on the lead frame. but now the 2013s have extended coverage on the lead frame as well. no recall just extended warranty for 10 years /150k miles from warranty start date
