2011 XLT Headlamp problem.
 

I have a strange headlamp problem with my stock 2011 F150 XLT.
While driving earlier this week, my high beams suddenly turned on completely on their own. Now I can't turn them off. As soon as I start the truck, the highbeams are on. The multi function switch will not toggle between low and high. Turning the lights off with the dial to the left of the steering column also doesn't turn my headlights off.
They will turn off when the truck is turned off, but as soon as the truck is started, the high beams turn on and stay on.

See if there is a relay somewhere for the high-beams. If you have one, it's probably in the fuse/relay box under the hood. Check the coil to see if it is energized if so, you'll probably have to trace the circuit back until you find what is providing power for the relay. For now, you could pull the relay to kill the high-beams. I suspect you have either some damaged wiring or a high/low beam switch that is going bad. When the truck is running, does toggling the high/low beam switch produce any kind of change in the headlight lamps? What about the mechanism? Does it "feel" or sound different? Is the dash high-beam indicator on? I would suspect is a real pain in the ass to pull the multi-function switch from the steering column, but doing so would allow you to check it out with a meter. The results from this test, should tell you whether or not you need to trace out the whole wiring harness. Keep us posted with what you find.

Figured out the problem. Problem was the electrical connection on the switch itself. I suppose over years of clicking the headlamps from bright to dim, mixed with the -60F (yep) weather we have been having here lately. The plastic housing for the MFC cracked and over time, the connector loosened and worked its way half off and the only pins that were connected were for the high beams
After removing the airbag, steering wheel and steering column, I was able to glue the pieces of plastic back together, and keep the multi function switch in place.
