2011 EPAS problem (power steering)
2011 F-150 FX-4 5.0 motor.
Really cold today...-14*F. My son drives 45 minutes to work. He drove about 40 minutes when the power steering stopped working--no errors on the display. He parked the truck inside the shop for a few hours and now it is working. I've done some thread searching and don't see a whole lot about this kind of failure. The truck has a 4" BDS lift, so I was wondering if a wiring harness might be pulled tight? I plan on starting with the electrical connections--checking for corrosion, water intrusion, pinched/damaged wiring harness, etc. Any other ideas? I have access to a fairly good code reader and have Forscan available--I just haven't started using it.
Looking for a place to start troubleshooting.
