Hey,

New to the forum and hopefully someone can help.

I had to join just to post this cuz I can't find any videos of a similar noise.

When truck is at idle, in park or in drive, after a few seconds a loud whine starts. Then you can hear a relay click and it goes away. Then it comes back. Once you shut the truck off, the noise continues for a few seconds.

Any ideas? Lots of looks while sitting at stoplights. Haha.

Edit- after using the remote start this morning, it was not making the noise when I went to leave for work, about 10-15 mins later.

This truck is becoming a money pit.

Timing chain --$4g
Exhaust manis--$2g
Rear sliding window--$1500??
Plus whatever this new noise is----$$$


I have yet to do any of it. Prob just trade her in. But I can't have this noise.

AC noise maybe?
pull relay 23 outta the fuse box and see what happens.

Nah didn't help.
It does the noise with AC off or on. But seems like only when it's warm.
I was thinking turbo or some vacuum leak. Going in tomorrow for oil change and diagnosis.
