1986 fwd hub removal

Hi, new here, I have mechanical question, and hoping someone can help, if I am overlooking something.

The truck is 4 wheel drive, the bolt pattern is five lug, and one is broken off on left front.
It has manual locks.
I have removed the six bolts and the manual lock, the snap ring, the part that locks the internal and external splines together, along with its keeper screw, and spring.

This is where the problem starts, the inner spline coupling will not slide out off of the axle spline, and it does not look boogered!
The outer spline, it wiggles a little and with it the small inner spline piece does too, but they won't come out.
I built a little adapter for a slide hammer using two of the #10 bolts.
I did not get over zealous but my adapter started to bend in the middle, nothing still, so I stopped.

Is there something I am not seeing, I don't want to break anything, and want to install a new lug bolt.

Put the spring, lock, & screw back. Then remove the OUTER snap-ring; put 1 cap screw back in, and slide the lock body out. Click this & read the caption:

Your hub lock is very different from that pic, but your snap ring is identical. It's at the top Right of this diagram:

This explains how to change the rotor, but all you need to do is drive out the broken lug, and pull a new one in. You can hammer it in to start, but use the correct tool to finish pulling it in to the rotor/hub.

Thanks for your reply.
As per the diagram, assembly 1k104, has been removed.
There was a snap ring on the axle that won't allow the sleeve to come out, so I removed it, allowing the lock, then the spring to come out, once that screw was removed.
The lock body and the sleeve seem to start to slide, with a little wiggle present, but it seems the sleeve needs to come out first?
I did not think the rotor slid off like the diagram shows first, but it is behind the hub, I will look again today.
Why I need to get to the hub bearings and remove the hub, rotor, and all.
Mine is a five lug, full axle housing, manual lock in/out, four wheel drive F150, that is not a dually, otherwise I believe my components are same.
The first picture link describes an auto-lock assembly removal.

Right. That's what I said. Put those parts back inside the lock body, and remove the outer snap ring. Post pics of what you've removed, and what's left. Instructions are in a link in this caption:

Thanks, I guess in my haste, I did not see that wire clip that was holding me back.
All good now and appreciate your help.
