Creaking sound when starting to move coming from front end. Noticed recently and doesn't happen every day; infrequent but happening more often. The take-off creak is usually accompanied by the shakes when braking (feels like warped rotors).


Also have a grindish sound I can hear and feel once per wheel rotation, especially at low speed and all the time. Is it the brakes or possibly the front axle (CV joints)?

I have 58k miles and Fox 2.0 level for last 40k miles.

Have you looked at the rotors? They may be warped it kinda sounds like it

At times it kind of sounds like the ABS module kicking in.

Turned out one of the pistons on the passenger front caliper was stuck. Replaced front calipers with pads and rotors; good to go.
