Default Tow Mirror Puddle & Turn Signals - Question

Hey everyone, this may not be the right place but wanted to try and get some definitive answers as to whether this will work out..

I installed some tow mirrors on my 2013, took a shot on the puddle and signals as my previous mirrors didn't have these. Got everything connected up and ended up with just power working.

I checked the diagrams and it looks like I might be able to run some wires from the kick panel/area to the mirror harness (may buy some pins I saw in another post and see if I can get those in there.. Would this work out? I figure I can tap into the rear signals and maybe the dome light for the puddles? I've looked for a while and found similar posts but nothing showing the process. I may try and take some pics and stuff once I get ready to do it. Looks like I'll need 18 gauge wire to 9 and 10 on the harness, hopefully the pin idea will workout.

Thank you!

I have the same issue with my mirrors the truck seems to be wired for turn signals and puddle lights but no power to the connector, I assumed the fuse was just missing at the panel but all the spots had a fuse installed.

I had turn signals on my stock mirrors but no puddles; I added puddles and it was the purple wire going to the mirror harness connector that supplied power to the puddles. May be the same for your 2013?

Look up your truck's wiring free on this site: (you DON'T have to use a real e-mail)
http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html
Remember to switch to WIRING DIAGRAMS because it defaults to TSBs.

When you find the puddle & signal mirror diagrams, just trace your truck's wiring to see where it DOESN'T have what the diagram shows, and copy the diagram into the truck. You can get many wire gauges, colors, & stripes under $1/foot on Amazon & eBay. I shop for the Made In USA wire, which DOES exist, and is reasonably-priced.

I not only added all that wiring to my antique; I also had to build the mirrors with heat, turn signals, puddle lamps, & off-road lights.

But they DO work, and I've built & installed another pair for a local friend. I'm working on another Bronco which will have the memory mirrors linked to the memory seats, memory pedals, & RKE.

I am also having problem getting my puddle lights working. My truck originally came with 8 pin mirrors with power glass, heat, and turn signals. I just installed 22 pin towing mirrors, with an 8 to 22 pin adapter with pig tails for the puddle and running lights. I wired the puddle lights into the interior dome light circuit, and running lights into the head light switch. Well that didn't work, But I have power to the puddle and running lights when turned on. So I did some experimenting with the ground wire at the plug. I ran a jumper wire to the negative side of battery, and the lights worked, WHY. My mirrors and heat and signals all work without the extra ground wire, so why doesn't the puddle and running lights work. Do the door modules have something to do with the ground circuit

Look up the wiring at that link, and find out.

Go to the 2009-2014 Ford F150 section. Use the search and put in "Powerfold Tow Mirrors". It's a thread with info on adding the updated '13-'14 Tow mirrors with the power extend function to the '09-'12 F150. It has all the useful info you'll need. I don't know how to do links otherwise I'd put it in for ya. I have an '11 Lariat with factory tow mirrors. I bought a set of the '13 with power extend to put on. Just haven't done it yet because of back issues and needing help.
