Default Simple Adjustable Tailgate Support

Even with the 6.5' bed I'm not able to get two full size dirt bikes in the bed with the tailgate closed. I think it's just barely possible without a bed liner or tonneau cover rails, but I have both so it's just too tight. I've seen the solid tailgate support bars that are sold to keep the tailgate partially closed in this situation, but I didn't know which lengths I'd want so I just threw these together instead. Just a couple scrap 5/8" bolts, a few inches of 1x1/4" flat bar, and a couple tie down straps from the bucket. Clip them into the tailgate, hook up the straps, and snug it up. Lift the tailgate handle and they pop out (or just loosen the straps). Rear camera still works well enough, as do the parking sensors. I've found that having the pressure on the rear tires from the tailgate makes the bikes far more stable in the truck, too.

I would just be sure the tailgate can't come upward. That is about the angle you move it to remove it. Wouldn't want the right side to pop out and drag the tailgate.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I had already installed a clamp on the passenger side when I previously installed the tailgate damper (the tailgate piece of the liner isn't removable, either). Good call though.
