I loved how the rack turned out. Sure, you could of bought a rack off of the shelf which could of done the same thing as yours. But I like that you built it. The title of this area of the forum is "Custom Fabrication Department". Any Joe Bag O Donuts can go to the store and buy a rack.

Thanks, Guys! I appreciate it. I get a lot of compliments on it! There is no way you could buy a rack like the one I built!! Trust me I have looked for a while before I built this one. I have the skills, the material, and the equipment to do projects like this. But you will always find someone who knows better or more then you do! Those guys probably don't even own a welder. lol
I built bumpers for my quad, light bar for the truck, nerf bars for my truck. (I took those off cuz they just collected salt in the Michigan winters) I like to fab things like that! I just wish I had the room to build some ft & rr bumpers for my Truck.....
Thanks Again.

That is awesome that you build your own. I like to buy US made if I can and stay away from the chinese stuff. I'm starting to put together my tools and even took a couple welding classes to give me the basics. I have a mig welder. I also have a tubing bender still in the box from JD Squared. I have a metal chop saw, but would like to get a plasma cutter. Now I just need the time to be able to use these tools. My job has me traveling out of town a lot, so I don't always have the time. But stay tuned for some fab work that I will attempt. My first project is going to be a set of rock sliders.

Sounds good AL!! And it sounds like you have some of the tools you will need. Just be patient. I was thinking of building some rock sliders also. But they would have to be bolt on because I would need to take them off in the winter. For what it is worth... When you are building (welding) something. Just Tack Weld it first and fit it a couple times. Because a tack weld is a lot easier to cut apart then a nice bead! Keep me posted on your sliders! Do you know if you are gonna go with round or square or rectangle tubing?

Thank You Triton07!!
I think I am going to add two more lights in the rear of the rack right in the center. After using it this summer and camping on my property. There is a "Dark" area in that location.
I have two more channels that are not in use on the remote so I will have no prob running them. I am also going to get a solar charger/maintainer for the battery that powers the lights. I have four 4'' LED cube lights that I bought for another project that never got off the ground. I will just swipe 2 of those.

Here is a pic of it loaded and ready to go! There is still a lot of room left on the rack!
I know people are going to ask Why don't you just put the stuff in the topper?
Reason... I sleep in there and don't want gas, water, half rotten Apples. Yes, that's whats in the 5-gallon buckets. Or other things in there. Call me picky but that's how it is!!
The battery for the lights is in the waterproof ammo can!
