Hi, this is a mighty expensive decoration; And it won't increase gas mileage, payload, or horse power.

I wouldn't be so sure. The CF may be a bit lighter than the OEM plastic covers....I could see you gaining at least an ounce with these, maybe even 1.5oz.

I covered my black faux wood grain with 3M carbon fiber vinyl...it took like 4-8 mins a door. I did the glove box trim and sync 3 door too, grand total of $22 for the vinyl. The glove box trim and sync door were difficult, a trained monkey could do the doors. Oh and it doesn't look chunky like these pieces.

I love innovation and people trying to fill a need, but I think you guys might have missed your market on these. With the availability and ease of customization with vinyl, I can’t imagine that you’re going to find a market for a $1000 set of trim pieces for an F150. Real carbon fiber is expensive, tedious and labor intensive, no doubt about it and I’m sure these things are beautiful but how many F150 owners do you think are gonna drop a grand on a set of door trims? I hope I’m wrong because I love to see new companies come out with really high quality nice innovation, but i don’t see this working out for you.

edited to add: I see now that the price has been dropped to $588. You may sell a dozen or so at that price, but I hop you guys gear your labor towards the higher end auto market because that looks like some really nice work. I just don’t see the F150 market being the right approach.

And the RCLB. There's, uh, one of us.

Seriously, though, they probably didn't think regular cab owners would spring for $900 worth of door trim. Not that anyone would.
