Specs?

I'll tell you what materials I used:

uprights: 1/4" plate steel
cross bars: Schedule 80 pipe
light mount plate: 10 ga
6 - 1/2" Grade 8 bolts
powder coated dark gray

Top pipe is level with cross bar in grille.

Does that give you a place to start?

Wow! The push bar looks mass produced! As for the bumper, I've been thinking I want to do the same to go with my Arc Rite set up.

Thanks for sharing!

Default I need this Frankenbumper

No pictures today. I removed the bumper and am scrapping it... <just kidding> No, it is time to do some finishing touches, like install an edge stiffener along the bottom edge of the skin (for lateral strength), and install the push guard/light mount bracketing to the bumper.

I've already done a preliminary grind on "Frankenbumper", and it's starting to look pretty good. I won't be mounting it back on the truck until after it's been sprayed with truck bed liner.

I went to a truck accessory shop and had them install a front hitch and this is what they gave me. What the described and what they gave were two different things. I lost 6” of clearance and they removed my air dam. I came across this post searching for a bumper hitch. I don’t think they exist except for this one. I want one so I can put a winch, or a carrier for a cooler, or a small generator or a kayak/long ladder support. Would you consider making another one? Several people asked the same.
I had them take it off and put the air dam back

We just bought a Curt open box in that model from Amazon. Got a great deal for it...but it is designed for easy install....not the best structural or engineered fit. Those sleeves that go in the frame area are **** and we are going to upgrade those. We put ours on 1) because we could use it for extra pool cleaning equipment and 2) it was cheap in the open box form

I guess whoever ordered it first from amazon decided they didn't like it. I had studied these before and understood the downsides...which I can live with for our service. If i ever sell the truck, I'll take it off to prevent misuse and disaster upon others.

I believe draw tite and other brands have the same concept. I could easily sketch up a better design. I do like the one in this thread.
