How do you get the pieces off the door panels?

There are plastic posts on the pieces that are melted onto the base panel. I drilled them down like you would with a pop rivet (carefully obviously) and then used a utility knife to cut off any plastic bits I missed with the drill.

I then used epoxy to re-install

I use some activator I had from a "My Dip Kit" I bought previous to test with. A little goes a very long way

This is the film I bought

I just used a large rubbermaid container and a fish tank heater to maintain temps.

Lot's of vids on YouTube on the process. I went through a bunch. Here's one

I got to the part where the handle would go 90, but didn't want to risk it. If you can, post up a photo of the dash! I'm curious to see it. My first F150 and am still amazed and how different each one can be.

For sure, I'll take a shot of the interior and post up tomorrow.

Not the best shot, but here is what my dash looks like.

The trim around the glove-box matches the door handle surrounds and the trim around the stereo and console were the same as the parts I dipped. I'll hopefully get around to doing the stereo and console plastics in the coming weeks to match the dipped door pieces.

That looks really cool! I agree, just the door panel looks odd with the handle and surround, but once viewed as a whole interior, it looks great! I love seeing the different themes and styles people come up with to individualize interiors. It seems like most people spend so much time/money on the exterior, and so few (short of the show truck crowd) think to turn their interior into a statement too, be it a simple understated style like yours, or a wild show-level refabrication. Nice work, and I can't wait to see it done once you match the rest of the dash panels and console!
