Default debadging tailgate f150 emblem

Does anyone know if the f150 emblem on my 2017 is only glued or does it have pins and holes. The letters/numbers aren't connected. I would think they're only glued. Don't want to make the mistake of trying to remove them if they're pinned.

Update: Just took off the f150 emblem! Just glued! Now, minus that emblem, the ecoboost one and the 4X4 Sport decal, my truck looks really clean! Love it.

All the ones I have seen have been glued on. If you want to be 100% certain, open the tail gate, take off the inner cover and take a look to see if there is anything sticking into the opening in the area of the F150 badge.

I just removed the rear F150 emblem today. Left the truck in the sun for a few hours to warm the badge up then removed it with fishing line wrapped around two pencils!
Used a sawing motion and cut behind the badge which came off easily.
Rolled the residue off with my finger then cleaned up with Goo-Gone - all good.

Been thinking about this on my Ruby Red 16 F150
How did you paint them? Brush and carefully? Mask and spray?

Plastidipped them... Much easier and better. Go see my introductory thread, you will find some pictures!

You don't have to worry about over-spraying when you use plastidip. It comes off like a saran wrap when it's dry. It's a charm! I did use some masking tape and news paper though.

EDIT:
