Default Brush Guard Brackets

Hey yall, I bought a "Barricade Extreme Heavy Duty Black Brush Guard" that came without brackets for a 2015-18. After multiple calls with American Trucks, they are not going to help me out with the brackets or anything. I was wondering if anyone has a template they used to mount a brush guard on previously or any ideas on how to make the most affordable but "safe" mounting brackets. I have limited tools in terms of metal bending equipment but I'm sure I can find a way. I appreciate any help yall can offer.

For reference this was the brush guard: https://www.americantrucks.com/barri...T5_Var3=orange

Why won't it fit? Did you buy it new?

It came without brackets, and they are unable to send me any brackets. It will fit at least from the holding up and looking "tests" I just need to figure out how to mount the sucker.

The picture of the brackets is at the link you posted. Have you looked at them? Take the picture, the truck, & the guard to a local fabricator - it shouldn't take him more than a few hours to mount it.

But I'd return the POS to the jerks who sent it without the brackets. If you paid by CC, you can challenge the charge - that'll get their attention.

no big surprise. i waited months and months to get one of their bumpers w/o the extra lights, which were just a bolt on option, and never got it. they had the bumpers in stock, only with the overpriced lights, and they would not remove them to sell me a light-less bumper. they have no concept of customer service.

Update, I reached out to Aries Automotive for a bracket kit from their Pro Series Grille Guard for a 2016 F150. They hooked me up with a bracket kit with bolts and everything. Awesome people!

Did you purchase the open box one that states no brackets?
That might be the problem. You would probably have to contact the manufacturer to order brackets.

Open box is one thing... But open box and incomplete product are not the same thing.
You wouldn't buy a used 4 wheeled vehicle with only 3 wheels on it.

I agree and I was going to purchase the same guard from the same company you purchased from but when I read the open box brush guard did not come with any hardware and it stated they could not get the hardware I chose not to purchase the brush guard as open box.
