Default Phone Holder Mod

My phone is a Note 3 and because of its size there is not a good place to set it down on the center console. I bought some cloth netting from a local fabric store, removed the center console and used double sided 3M tape to hold the netting in place. This has turned out to be a great way to keep my phone in place.

Nice. It's stupid they have a pocket there on the passenger side but not the driver's side.

Agreed. Do you think the 3M tape will hold-up over time?

I had forgotten about this post till I saw the responses. It's been two years since I've made this mod and have had zero issues with it. I changed phones since then but the netting is still holding up without a care in the world. It's like it was made for the truck.

I have the same problem with my Note 4. When I have a drink in the cupholder I have no where to put it. Did the 3m hold up? lol. Why not just drill some holes and screw it on there?

Couldn't bear the thought of drilling holes in my truck. I did this mod two years ago and it is holding up great. I have a Galaxy S6 now and it holds the phone with no issues.
