Anyone install an overhead dvd/bluray system in their truck?
If so, how badly does it impede the vision when down? I do not have a moonroof and I did notice the ceiling of my truck is slightly indented on the drivers side possibly a dvd player more too to be installed. Also how was the install? I assume the power is run from somewhere so holes will have to be cut? I am looking at something like this: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/alpine-1...?skuId=7536194

Just a thought,
what about something like this with some head rest mounts?
you would save yourself a bunch of money.
plus those things block the rearview mirror, never cared much for them.
best of luck with whatever you decide!!!

I put this one in mine and doesn't block the rearview mirror at all

I have that Alpine unit in my wife's Sienna. Really nice unit and have been very please with it. I don't have one in the truck and I doubt I will. As the kids have gotten older, the Kindles keep them entertained on road trips.

My kids look out the windows and they'll like it dammit. Just like I had to. They're lucky I stop for them to go to the bathroom.
