2015 Jumpseat / Center Console Swap
 

I have a 2015 XL with the cloth middle jumpseat. I want to replace it with the basic center console from the 09-14 XLT's. I want to use this console mainly because it does not go all the way to the dash. I'm sure the bolt patterns are different, but would the modifications be fairly easy or rather extensive?
I have attached some pictures for reference; as to what I am thinking.

I'm not certain how the jump seat bolts in, but I'm assuming there are a few points in the floor.
My first thought is: I'd probably see about attaching some type of wooden structure to the floor that the console could sit on, but that would be tucked up under it, the reason being that console seems to attach via the side.
I haven't done this, I'm just basing it off of the photos you provided.

I was about to start my own thread on this. Not going to steal yours but i'll offer what information I have.

I have a 13 f150 with the 40/20/40 jump seat. Got a floor console out of a 2010 f150 from a local salvage yard.

The middle jump seat is very easy to remove. 4 Bolts total, 2 on each side. Disconnect harness to power outlet on rear of jump seat and boom it's out.

The jump seat is secured to an aluminum bracket. The holes on the floor console won't match up with the holes on the aluminum bracket. Put the floor console down on it and mark the holes on the bracket. Remove the console and drill out marked holes. Use self tapping screws to mount the console. Oh and don't forget the plug in the power outlet.

Now my issue is my f150 has the sony sound system so there is an AMP underneath the jump seat in between the aluminum bracket. With the amp there the console won't sit down over top of the aluminum bracket.

Not much room under the driver and passenger seat to relocate the amp. So now i'm stuck.

The 15 jump seat is wider than the 14. Someone fabbed up some brackets to mount it in.

I have a 2015 40/20/40 with jump seat that I want to remove and replace with a nice console. Where do you buy the console? Is there an aftermarket one? Are they nice? Padded top? Leather?
