'07 Supercab Interior Storage Box
After being fed up with the minimal under-seat storage in the back of my Supercab for far too long, I decided a custom storage box was in order. The entire rear set, belts, jack holder and anything else that got in the way was removed. After about 160 hours of measuring, checking, cutting, fitting, tool making, machining, welding, painting, wiring and even a little swearing, this is the end result. There are two compartments, six doors, about 16 feet of LED lighting (controlled my magnetic proximity switches and relays), a fire extinguisher holder and a 1st Aid Kit holder. The door latches are solenoid operated. Not pictured is a 4" thick foam pad that turns it into a sleeper cab (mostly for the dog).

Too much
Thank you for the compliment. Having reasonably secure storage and organized gear is really nice.
Considering that there is somewhere in the neighborhood of $500 in materials & parts and another 160 hours of labor, I'm guessing I can't make it worth my while to start marketing them.
I'd have to redesign and try to get the build time down to 30 or 40 hours. I wouldn't expect someone to want to pay $5000 for this.
