Mine does that, but at low speeds, at times it gets really stiff when making a lane change or moving to a turn lane. I have to fight it some times, but I don't drive 80, so can't say it does it then too.

Having read the forums for the last 3 years I'd say it not a fault of the truck/steering. Extremely isolated problem.
I think it’s isolated to the electric steering rack. I’ve never noticed it before yesterday, doesn’t do it at lower speeds and is intermittent. After I’d stop for something it would be normal for 30-40 miles then start doing it again. If it was due to modifications it would be consistent.

Not exactly an F150 but the wife's KIA started feeling funny at highway speeds, exactly as you describe. We just replaced the tires and now its all back to normal. I was guessing the feedback from the tires and road caused it to adjust and not act like normal. Just a thought!

I noticed that mine will act weird every once in awhile, but haven't noticed a specific speed. It will get sticky and then next time I notice it, it's the opposite. I assumed it was some feature for cruising or safety.

I thought I was alone on this. Had not posted cause it wasnt a constant thing.
Last weekend while driving on I45 from houston doing about 85 I noticed the wheel really stiff.
I had my wife feel it to make sure I wasnt hallucinating again.
it would not re-center itself and was stiff to turn either right or left.
Oddly on our return trip it was soft and returned to center normally.
kinda felt like driving with 2 wheels cambered out at a 60 deg angle then trying to turn to the opposite side.
you could feel the stiff then lighten up then stiff again.
I actually checked every lug nut just to be sure.
It hasnt done it again this week.

Try it with the lane keeping feature turned off and see if the lane keeping goes away..

Was there by chance a strong crosswind when it happened? Another feature of our trucks is crosswind help.

he’s describing exactly what I am. This isn’t a tire or wind issue...it’s something weird with the electric rack.

I've noticed that the first 5-6 miles I drive, the steering is strange. It reminds me of driving with one hub locked on a conventional 4X4. Only thing, it alternates from side to side, causing me to correct it. 45 mph at most for that time. Once I get past that, it doesn't act up antmore. At 80, never noticed it. I'm half afraid to take it in.

Does it regardless if it is on or off, and it is stiff for a moment then frees up. Mine is back to pulling and drifting again, it now pulls left, but will occasionally pull right, and it has already been aligned twice, and all tires are equal, so it can only mean the EPAS is fooked again.
