Default Yes Ebay headers fit - Kinda

So I took a bit of a risk and ordered up a set of Ebay headers from DNA motorsports.
My truck is a 2016 XLT 5.0
They were actually pretty impressive once I took a good look at them and figured, OK, what the hell, I'll try to put them on.
I used new factory studs on every hole. the bolts that come with the headers are too small anyway.
I jacked the passenger side up until the 2 motor mount studs were flush with the frame bracket. This allowed me to remove and install over factory studs without any issue.
Both headers were installed from over the frame, not from underneath the vehicle.
It took me just over 6 hours because I had to cut out one of the collector bolts that decided to remain with the Y-pipe instead of the manifold.

I had to install 2 washers per motor mount stud (approx. 3/16th" total) for the passenger side header to clear the factory strut/control arm frame bracket.
I don't know if one set will be different from the next as far as clearance is concerned. They are made in China after all but again, I was impressed by the build quality over all.

Good to hear. Take any pictures along the way?

I installed DNA Motoring/Speed Daddy headers on my Monte Carlo way, way back. They were a knock-off set of a much nicer and more expensive brand. I was really pleased with the quality and overall fitment, especially for the price. Some had minor issues with fitment but they seemed to bolt right on in my case, I'd imagine that's luck of the draw when going with a cheaper product. Good to hear that these worked out! What do you have in place for the rest of the exhaust system?

My exhaust is all stock so far. Borla touring is on the list.

Any difference in power, sound, fuel economy?

Sound is slightly more pronounced on acceleration. Otherwise everything seems to be the same.

what material are those made of? They look good now, but wonder how they'll age and hold up over time.

Any power gains from short tube headers will be next to none.
