Default XLT to Lariat mirror swap help????

I知 trying to swap my XLT mirrors(power only) to Lariat (mirrors( power, heat, turn, puddle)... the one problem I知 having is the guy that had the Lariat mirrors cut the connector from the end so now I知 possibly gonna have to splice the wires together but I知 not sure which ones go with what.... any help or wiring diagrams would be great.... thanks in advance

I'm trying to grasp exactly what it is you're looking for...

You currently have a 2017 XLT w/power adjust, signals, heated, electro-chromatic auto-dimming driver's side mirrors, that I'm assuming has 8 pin connectors on the door harnesses. You have purchased Lariat take off mirrors w/22 pin mirror connectors. Now you need to connect the 22 pin connector pigtails, that were shipped with the Lariat take off mirrors, to your existing XLT door harnesses which only have 8 pin connectors.

Is this correct?

If this is what you're trying to accomplish, I wouldn't cut/splice anything. I would investigate these:

Keep in mind, without further modifications, the Lariat mirrors will only have the same features your XLT mirrors currently have as the XLT 8 pin door harnesses don't support additional mirror features.

I doubt seriously that anyone here as cut the connector off of their mirror wiring and spliced into the door harness. You are going to have to try to find a schematic that identifies what each wire does by color, and tie it someway into the door wiring harness.

I strongly suggest you return those mirrors for your money back and get a set of mirrors that have not been butchered. Or, at the least, go to a junkyard and buy a pair of pull-off mirrors from a wreck. Even if the mirrors are toast, you can salvage the connectors and splice them onto your good mirrors with no connectors.

My mirrors are just power adjust.... and they do have and 8 pin connectors..... I was given these mirrors from a guy cause he had cut off the connectors to use with the tow mirrors that he installed on his truck... I don’t know what the original harness looked like on the Lariat mirrors but I do know there is like 16 wires coming out of it.... you are correct I’m just trying to figure out how to get these to work my 8 pin connector and to hopefully get the turn signal to at least work on them as well.... I would like for all the other functions to work on the Lariat mirrors after I install them too but sometimes that’s wishful thinking
