I would say the power seats in the XLT are probably the most comfortable. To me, the non powered XL seats seem to be a bit harder, flatter with less lumbar support. The lariat seats feel the same way for some reason, though they do have better lumbar support.

I have the 301a, which means a full powered XLT seat for the driver and a basic XL seat for the passenger. The passenger seat is much less comfortable.

Nothing wrong with the seats in my XL/STX......... More comfortable than the Silverado's for sure (same model year).

BUT, you can't beat the seats in a Nissan Titan(2017). they aren't made out of that stiff outershell, and they have plenty of padding. Only part of that truck I didn't have an issue with. unfortunately the tranny was crap.

My 17 XLT seats are definitely more comfortable than my 15 Lariat seats were. I can't make up my mind if I want to add leather or not. The "cloth" material is really nice.

XLT bucket seats great for me as well
The basic XLT seats.....not so much
Ive got a loaner basic XLT while they fix some paint issues on mine and even the lady friend commented on uncomfortable seats of base model XLT

Do the seats "break in" at all? We have a XLT 302a and I can't drive for more than about 1-2 hours before my *** really starts to ache and go numb. I wish the seats were more "fitted" - I'm used to the seats in a 911 and have a GT350 now. My Tacoma seats were tons more comfortable.

So I can't tell if they are just stiff because they are new, if I'm too fat or if I'm not fat enough (6', around 210).

I picked up a junk yard seat from a 2015 301a package XLT. its an 8 way power seat. which is an upgrade over my non power seat. I can tell you its quite a bit more comfortable and feels different than the STX factory seat.

Tried sending you a PM, too. Can you tell us if the swap out from a manual XL seat to a 8-way powered XLT seat was plug & play? Existing OEM connectors matched?
