I wouldn't be letting someone take my truck 15 miles without me being there. I've seen people, and had one do it to mine, rag on customer vehicles. I called out a guy at NTB one time for revving my truck at each bay as he flew down the row. He just laughed and got someone else to finish up the paperwork. I'm VERY skeptical of shops.

Exactly!! You know for a fact they are not gentle with customer vehicles and that can be said for most all dealerships not just ford!!

I'm sure the service manager has a chassis dyno in his desk and can bring it right out and strap your truck on and make a 60 mile pull while you watch. My god man its a truck not your mistress. Be thankful they a willing to take the time to get it right.

There's two things I won't let someone else use, my torque wrench and my wife.

They want to fix your truck.... let them. Don't stand in the way.

Ok got the truck back required a 49.4 mile ride drive cycle. Error codeP25B4 message to adjust waste gate linkage before replacing any components, which is what was done.

So they remove the right front inner wheel well, clear the kam reck? From what I see they check different electrical points for shorts, opens, resistance and voltage values all
predetermined telling them what's good and what isn't. Once that's done wheel well back on and perform drive cycle. Holly crap!

All makes sense, just hope that the solution. Love this truck, lets see.

Not in my part of Texas. Must be an urban thing. I have never seen a dyno at a dealer, not required for inspection here.

If it's an emissions county it is, not lubbock amarillo etc.

Any update on the truck? I told you to let em make sure it was right first. You would have been pissed taking it back after 50 miles. Then there would have been a whole nother rant and 40 other people saying "I would have let them drive it for sure!"
