Default Wrecked my baby...

Got into a nasty car accident over the weekend in Houston. Fortunately, I had a dash cam installed when I bought my F150 a little over a year ago:

The other driver was actually arrested for reckless driving after the police saw the video. Heres a photo of my truck:

Any thoughts on whether its totalled? Looks like broken front axle...passenger side front wheel took most of the impact, so may be frame damage. Passenger side door would not open.

I'll be getting rid of the truck if insurance wants to fix it.

I'm guessing not totaled, but who knows. Are you OK? Was the Expedition also involved?

damn man, that sucks!
Glad you're OK.

I'd love to hear that guy's version before the police saw the dash cam footage. For your sake, I hope he has insurance.

Doesn't look terrible to me, I'd say they're going to repair it. I don't foresee repairs coming near 75% of the value of the truck.

Glad to hear you're OK!.. That video just prompted me to get a cam installed on my truck ASAP. I could imagine the BS excuse from that other driver had you not had it on video... They were TOAST seeing what the freaken idiot was doing. He's lucky he didn't get killed as you moved to the left to avoid a much worse crash.......

I think your truck might be totaled but have to let it play out. Please keep us informed what happens.

Good to hear you are ok. What kind of damage on the drivers side? It appears the collision caused you to scrape along the center median.

Glad you are ok, could have been nasty for the other guy. I'd be curious what the other guys driving record looked like if they hooked him on reckless.

On a side note, that Expedition was traveling WAY too fast for conditions, that could've really messed up your day if he hit you directly.

If all your damage is on the right front she is not totaled. Anything on the left side?
