If you bought it cheap enough you could always remove the sunroof and put a new solid roof on it.

Personally, I wouldn't touch a lemon with your money, much less mine.

Agreed.
For roughly half the price of current value and a 100K warranty. Worth thinking about.

Another snarky, useless post.

No, I wouldn't buy but there are a lot of folks out there that could never afford to own a truck like this. This could be a great opportunity for someone like that if negotiated correctly.

NO NEVER

I went through the by back with a lemon once. From what I can tell, its a truck or car they know they can not make right.

agree with everyone else. Certainly not one that was bought back for a common wide spread issue. If this was some truck that they had replaced an engine in or something, maybe. But an electrical issue or body related issue, really hard to fix something like that.

Never. Why would you buy something that's already a proven POS?

The biggest problem I see with buying one of these trucks is they are priced the same or only slightly less.

I recently bought a used truck and there are tons of Canadian trucks, Ford Service vehicles from Michigan, ford Reacquired Vehicles/lemon law, etc, I waited and found a locally owned truck for the same price.

Rick you know everyone has an opipion...its NOT just that cut and dry. I drive a XL because that's what I could afford. But if I could of bought the platinum with 4k miles for $30. that had issues and comes with a written history warrantee...I'd consider it.

why would one want the same headaches as the original owner? Not worth any discount to me, personally.

Or post with no relevant information at all.

I have also used the lemon law to get rid of a vehicle (JGC). Sometimes, a rig is just built wrong and u will constantly have issues.
Another thing to consider is that the resale will be crap when u go to sell. The title is tainted...listed as a lemon. Check the carfax.
