Default Worth Voiding Warranty?

Truck is 2015 4x4 screw with 11,000 miles. So I have 1.5 yrs or 25,000 miles left on the ford bumper to bumper

What I want: 4" lift with 35"s
What my 3rd party extended bumper to bumper will allow: up to 4" lift and up to 33x11.5 tires

Last thing I want to do is spend this $4k+ on everything to have the truck look funny due to the small tires on a 4".

So my question is would it be worth it to you? How likely will items break due to the large 35" tires that I will have to replace on my own dime? My largest concern is that my extended warranty company and ford would not help me if I had my transmission go out and they say it's the fault of the 35"s so we're not going to help you.

Heck yeah. Jack it up with those tires and put a tune on it.
It's only a trans, couldn't cost you more than $3-$4k to fix it. Well worth the gamble.

Find a buddy with 33's and be ready to swap out wheels on in the event of a claim!

Check out Fabtech 5/60 powertrain warranty. Maybe what you need.

How does it compare to BDS's or Zone's 5/60 power train warranty? I'd most likely sell the truck before 5 years or 60k anyways lol

My kind of guy! Hahah

But serious, I once replaced a trans on a 2001 dodge 1500 4x4 and it was $2800! That was back in 2014

It's a lot of money... I'm not worried about the 35s hurting the trans but I'm worried about the trans having an issues from just normal use that would normally be covered by the warranty but would not be because they could blame the 35s and Lift

Most likely, it'd be up to you to prove they didn't cause the problem(s) if you had any.

Ok, so it's the owner that must prove that the modifications didn't cause the problem? I always thought that Ford had to prove that they did cause the problem or else it was considered to not have caused the problem

I'm thinking staying with either a level and 32.5" tires or a 4" lift and 33.3"s may be the best option vs voiding all warranties

Technically it is Ford who is supposed to be required to prove that your modifications caused the failure. The kicker here though is that they can deny the claim and if you don't agree then you have to hire an attorney to fight Ford, good luck with that!
