Look at which forum discussion this thread was created under....."2015+ F150.
....and thanks, another reason why NOT to buy a used vehicle.

This world has so many problems and I will never understand the complaints on F150 forums about "not posted in the right forum", "you should have searched the forum", etc.

Hey Grey, maybe you should start a new forum that is related to "complaints" so those of us that are not as easily offended by a member posting a thread, can simply read and enjoy what other people have to say, and you can enjoy complaints.

We live in a world that is far from perfect, and I just think that people should focus on positive things instead of always being so critical of others for pointless issues.

If the MODERATOR feels it is posted in the wrong location, that is his job. Sit back and enjoy the fellowship of other F150 brothers!

Smile, life is short; laugh, it is contagious; share, it is humane.

Well I leased my 2015 XL and didn't want to pay for Linux. So I bought an off the shelf stuff sanded down the bed and went to town. I was about a quart short so I just skimmed the last part of the bed. Now I have Race Red popping out under the bed liner. Before I give it back in will hit the red spots with black Matt paint to hide them.

agreed.

To to stay on topic worst mod I ever did was an old explorer, painted everything on the dash and was impatient. Wasn't dry, areas got smudged, even more impatient tried sanding it while gummy. Got fed up and repainted the area and installed it.

Looked terrible. Too cheap to buy a new one or fix it. But man I loved that vehicle

note to self: don't buy a used '15 XL in 2018 😫. At least use more DIY bed liner and not spray paint or whatever black paint you find.

Worst mod? How about trading my 2014, with many upgrades/mod for 2015 lease. I did this to raise cash for home repair that insurance did not cover. The only thing missing from the grave that I dug is the tombstone.

That stupid *** tornado vortex thing that goes in your intake tube. I was a dumb teenager and fell for it.

Back when I had an AMC Javelin, I think even buying that car could be the worst mod ever.... I figured I needed a little more sound to the exhaust so I bought long tube headers and two Thrush mufflers that were bolted directly to the headers. No sneeking home late after that, you could hear that car from a half a mile.

Mlarv-too funny! Thanks for the laugh.
When armor all came out I thought it was pretty cool. I used some on the interior dash, then door panels. Well, that stuff was like a drug. Before you knew it, I did the seats, floor matts, and pedals. Basically the whole friggin interior. Well, needless to say I never really got it all off. Rainy days were the worst. The wetness made that slimed stuff come alive every time!

I purchased one of the first 1993 SVT F-150 Lightnings (low Vin#) I put a topper on it.

My gearhead/hotrod buds gave me crap for ruining the look of a hot rod, to the point I finally took it off...They were right, it looked stupid!
