I put a tune on mine before it was even out of warranty, and never regretted it.
Better throttle response, better strategies for towing, and you can change rev limiters, speed limiters, and fix the speedo on tire size.
IMO, the master of tuning F150s for the real world is Mike at 5STAR tuning.

Thats a good question.
Does Sport mode in addition to changing shift patterns also play around with cam timing, fuel/air ratios, etc.
Could be my imagination but my 5.0's engine/exhaust does sound a little different when in Sport Mode.
According to my '16 Owner's manual, no mention of any engine changes other than shift patterns and possibly throttle response.

I forgot about AdvanceTrac Sport mode... Mine will squeal the tires from a dead stop in just sport on the shifter (33x12.5 mud tires with 20x10-18 wheels, about 105lbs/corner) up until about 35mpg, stock tuning. These 5.0's are no slouch. Lol. I'm curious what all "sport" mode changes as well. I know throttle response and shifting change, but I'm curious if it does anything in the engine.

Well as a Coyote owner with an Omega tune and Borla exhaust, I can tell you Sport mode with the double tap and Advance Trac Sport mode, its a load of fun and really howls......
