Windshield Wiper Spray Not Working

Windshield Wiper Spray Not Working
I cannot get my windshield wiper spray to work. It was empty when I bought it and after I refilled it I had to hold it down for about 10 seconds to get it to work.
Today I went to use it and it will not spray. I live in Florida so nothing is frozen and I'm using the orange bottled Rain-X Wiper cleaner.
I don't think the hose is kinked...am I missing anything?

Someone posted earlier about this. It's possible that the last time it was used it sucked up some debris in the reservoir and the nozzle and/or tube is clogged. Someone else suggested to remove the hose and blow air through it.

Listen for the pump motor when you Push wash.
If you can hear it and the res is full there's a tubeing problem. Either blocked or pinched. You could try to disconnect the tubing at the pump and see if it's moving fluid. Work your way to the nozzle.
If you don't hear the pump you have an electrical problem.

1) It looks like they spilled a little wiper fluid in the area that they were doing the work...which is also by the battery. I used some paper towels to wipe it up but I wanted to ask if that could cause any issues?
2) I noticed this tape hanging off and now I'm wondering if the Ford mechanic working on my vehicle didn't connect it properly to this black plastic clip. Is this normal (and can anyone take a picture of theirs)?
Thanks

Just checked, no picture, but yes the wire is supposed to be taped to the clip. And the wire on mine is also taped to the main ground wire and is on the other side of the main wire.

I'm going to bring it back to the dealer on my way home to get it fixed.

Mine is not working either. 8200 miles on truck. Never had one of these go out before.

Possibly dielectric grease from the shrink tube.
