Window Sticker Generator
I have been bummed since ford changed the window sticker tool. I was very appreciative to find the Research maniacs way to get window stickers, but it is still not as easy as before.
While looking at vehicles I found this link that has worked on most newer build trucks. https://www.oemstickers.com/WindowSt...FX1EF8FFB65843 Just replace the VIN listed in the URL with the VIN you want to check and if available, the sticker will be full screen again. Research maniacs link works too, but it opens a 2nd window every time, and is more cumbersome, harder to read, etc... For reference, the Research maniacs link: http://researchmaniacs.com/VIN-Numbe...cker/Ford.html Every VIN that I tried on the OEM Stickers link that worked, also worked in Research Maniacs. I did have a couple "Please Check Back Later, the window Sticker has not been released", but it was the same for both links on the 5-6 VINs I ran. Enjoy! |
Yeah, I think I tried that with mine as I wanted to see something and was too lazy to go dig the original out of my paperwork. It came back with the try back later response...

This has been covered before. Only those vehicles that are officially in the Ford system as being available for sale will work. This includes used vehicles as long as they get "put" into the Ford system. For instance. When I traded in my 13 Taurus...before the trade...no window sticker. Traded it in to a Ford dealer and suddenly the sticker was available. It has since been sold and now can't bring the window sticker up.
If it is a non Ford dealer a used vehicle probably isn't going to show up. Yes it sucks....Ford is starting to lock things down and it's not just windows stickers. |
I too am disappointed the old reliable sticker link went the way of the dinosaurs. Thanks Ford!
