Bump, any updates from anyone regarding this issue? Should I bother taking this to the dealer and have them try to fix it?

Thanks

My 2018 has the same issue. The week I bought it, it had the seatbelt recall done and the dealer said the trim was not set right and it went back to be fixed. Driving home I notice at over 50 mph its noticeable. Cant track the exact spot. Sounds like top rear of the drivers door. All other doors sound fine. Tried water and soap, and even white chalk with no results.

did you try folding your side mirror in and driving around to see if the noise goes away?

I did not, but even if it works one needs the mirror. Sounds to me like no one including Ford has found a definitive cause or solution. I have noticed that my gap on door(where it meets roof, and pilar post)is larger than on most other F-150s.

it's more to identify exactly what is causing the problem so you know where to focus on. Even if you can't fix it. Every person with this noise might not have it coming from the mirror even though it all sounds the same.

Tried pulling mirror in. Seemed a little better, but hard to tell for sure. Will have to try it again. Still has rattling type of noise on rough roads even at low(er) speeds.

Default New to me f150 has wind noise coming from driver side window.

Today I finally FINALLY found the cause. It's the side view mirror! I tried driving with it folded in and like magic the wind noise is completely gone. Not sure how to fix this since I cant drive around with my driver side mirror folded in all the time but at least I found the cause.
New to me f150 has wind noise coming from driver side window. The truck is not even a week old to me. I am going to try folding the mirror, but in my case it only happens when i am on the interstate, so basically after 55mph. But i dont always hear it at those speeds.
Going to visit the dealership incase they can help me.
Hopefully find a way out.

I have a 15 Supercab since new, and mine did have a bit of wind noise, and the door would chatter on bumps when in colder temps. I loosened the top hinge bolt, bumped the door in about 1/16", and all is well. I torqued all bolts on both doors to 35 ft. lbs. (don't quote me, search this thread for correct torque). My noise has been reduced, and it no longer chatters.
