Default winch mount

Hey all, I was thinkin I may put a winch on the front of my 2018 F150. Does anyone know if Ford ever offered a optional winch for the 18 F150? Any of the mount/bumpers for the F150, that Ive seen, will some way or other get in the way of the front camera, the impact sensor, cruise control adaptive cruise, or cross traffic senor. And some, the tow hooks are removed. I got to looking at the huge gap in the grill. Its huge! Like Grand Canyon huge. Amost looks like you could put a winch in there. Which leads me to my next question...Did Ford ever offer a winch as an option or as a after market Ford upgrade?

First answer: No

aftermarket options are available…. Its a simple front receiver, installed, with a removable base mount for a winch, buuuuuut if you have the non V8’s, this option impedes air flow to the intercooler. From your question, it sounds like you don't.

nothing I've seen as of yet is available for winch placement behind the bumper, only before it.
The receiver is low enough that it shouldn’t impact front camera view, your other concerns would be answered by removing it prior to non off-road operation.
Any attachments added to the front of a vehicle ( crumple zones ) will impede its ability to effectively activate the safety systems.

I had an 03 explorer, threw on the bullbar… when i hit a barrier… the bull bar took majority of the hit, no air bags went off, no radiator damage, hood and fender ( fender support section ) were done for, the fuel shutoff did activate, and a bent lower control arm.
