Will I regret NOT getting the pano moonroof?
I live in central Texas and just ordered a 501A with the light camel interior. I went with the camel because I prefer as much light as possible. For the same reason, I plan to use tint that's as clear as possible - maybe 80% ceramic? I didn't go with the pano roof cause I figured I'd save the money.
Now 10 days later I'm wondering if I should've gone with it. Those of you who have it, do you find it worth it? I don't have a VIN from the dealer yet, so maybe there's still a window of time for me to make a change.

I don't currently have it, and will not again. I had one on a car in the distant past, and hated it. It kept the car hotter in the summer, and leaked when it rained. That turned me off of intentional holes in the roof.

Never had a pano roof, but have had sun roofs. I personally can't stand them. Its more annoying having the sun beating down on top of you that it is a benefit having it open. I never open my sunroofs and keep the shade pulled over 100% of the time.
I'd say keep the money. Plus its a very prone spot to leak.

Yes, you will regret it. It offers the following benefits:
1) Lowers your available payload by hundreds of pounds.
2) Offers the ability to shower in your vehicle on rainy days or while getting the car washed, coupled with the smell of mildew from various wet carpet and headliner areas of your truck.
3) Allows you to play games with your kids. "Hey Bobby, help Daddy find the wetspot!". Hopefully Bobby doesn't create one on your seat that smells different... Ford calls this feature "Bonding with your kids", and it's under "Free Internal Benefits".
4) Provides validation for getting the extended warranty when the track mechanism breaks in year 4 and the entire apparatus needs to be replaced.
5) Provides creaks and groans as you drive over uneven surfaces, thereby drowning out the annoying "piped in engine noise".
While clearly most owners have no issues, there are enough that do that you should not worry about not getting it.
In my next vehicle, which I plan to buy this year (replacing the car, keeping the truck), I will be ordering it to get the features I want but NOT get a moonroof. That means I can't get the garage door opener, but that's ok - I'll buy one on Ebay and retrofit it.

I've had sunroofs in almost all vehicles I've owned in the last 15 years. I hardly ever use them though but's nice to know it's there in case I do want to open it.
BTW, despite all the problems reported with these pano sunroofs, I still haven't had any issues with mine.

I have had sunroofs in the last 2 trucks I owned, and used them on a semiregular basis. I didn't want the potential problems identified on the forum, and didn't want the heat gain and additional ambient noise so I skipped the pano roof. I don't miss it at all.
