Will I regret having a moon roof?

It was a must for me. Even with the hassle of fixing the broken track on the one on my old truck, it was still an absolute requirement for me. Even though I don’t open it that much, I love the headroom and the luxurious feel of a glass roof.
Here is a platinum without one if anyone is looking. Be aware this dealer advertises all rebates and doesn’t include destination. In addition their processing fee is an egregious $999.

Our 2016 Tucson has a panoramic sun roof. It's pretty neat and we do use it, but when I ordered my 2018 Lariat the novelty of having one had worn off and I decided to not get one, just to avoid any potential problems. Having one wasn't that important to me and I can happily live without it.

I used the moon roof in my 2012 maybe 2 or 3 times in almost 6 years and didn't feel like paying 1800 canadian for something i have no use for and wanted to eliminate any possibility of a water leak or other issues. Ordered my 2018 Plat without a hole in the roof

If you can afford a platinum make sure you get the one you want. I don't like moon roofs and I would order the truck I wanted without one.
Ford seems to have plenty of problems with leaks and plugged drain tubes and rattling.
I'm not sure I'd want to add that to the list of possible troubles.

Mine isn't old enough to have a problem, but I'll deal with them if they come. I think it makes the cab feel great when i get in it. Roomy and bright. The AC is strong enough to cool that thing down in no time. The kids love it.
probably not the thread to ask, but on our honda, if I unlock the doors with the fab and press twice and then hold, it will put the windows down until I release the button. Was just wondering if Ford had something like that because I'd open that Pano as I'm walking to the truck and the heat would be out by the time I opened the door.

FORSCAN can program the front 2 windows to go down, but not global windows down (all of them)

I use my moonroof on a regular basis. When I lived in the North on very cold days there was a slight rattle. However, when the temperature is above let's say 40 degrees I have never experienced a rattle. I have zero leaks. I have had the windows tinted in the front to match the rear and that keeps the heat down significantly. Also every time the roof is closed and the vehicle is parked, I close the sun shade beneath the moon roof. I also use a pop-up windshield shade when vehicle is parked in the Sun. Even on 100 degree plus days the truck is merely warm when I enter. I hope this helps
