Default Why spend the extra money for anything above an XLT?

Ok so I know theres a huge jump in price from an XLT to a platinum/limited but why spend extra money? My truck is an XLT with a 302a package and after market Katzskin leather and many other things.

Of course these higher trims have a few extra stuff but come on is it really worth an additional 20-30k? Pics of my truck below and mods/accessories in my signature.

Because they want to. Its no ones business other than the person buying the truck. This is about the dumbest thread I ever seen started here.

Clearly common sense isn’t common to everyone.

If people didn’t find value in higher level trims they wouldn’t buy them.

Lots of reasons. Some people, like me could start a thread about not buying anything above an XL.....The fact is some people want all the options Ford has to offer. Look at your mod list. Many people could question why you bought any of it. In answer to your question, they buy Limiteds and Platinums because they want to.

Im not saying anything bad about the higher trims id love to own a limited because of their prestige I'm just wondering what makes them jump up in price so much.

Why would anyone buy a XLT and then waste all that money on mods?

I guess the biggest thing is features aka wants vs needs. For me I really wanted the push button start, BLIS, and cooling seats being in TX. Were these necessary? NOPE, but nice to haves.

Love the look of your Katzskin seats though, maybe next time I would go that route with an XLT.

Exactly why buy a Lexus when you could buy a Honda, I see that 430 in the driveway. Because you can that's why.
