Are all of the grilles inter-changeable? XLT, Lariat, KR, Platinum the same size and fit into the same opening? Does it matter which engine, EB or not? Are you changing the outer grille only and not the shutters, or is it both one part?

I have a 15' XLT 5 bar chrome grill, and would like to put the chrome Platinum grille with the mesh back. Would all Platinum grilles have the camera hole, because I do not have the front camera on my truck.

I don't believe the shutters need to be swapped. I swapped in a Lariat grill to my XLT, and didn't have to do a thing to the shutters. They sit in their own subassembly behind the grille assembly.

Not all platinum grilles have camera holes. Here's one that doesn't have a camera hole.

Well I'm on my third grill now. I went from the standard black XL 3-bar grill to the XLT Chrome 5 bar grill, to the present XLT 5 bar Sport Grill. Now I want to change the running boards. Yes, I have issues.

I went with a T-Rex billet style grille. Really happy with the result.
