Love my keypad. Use on both my 2015 f150 and 2017 explorer .

Just a little interesting note to add here, I bought a slightly used 2016 with the keypad last weekend. Something was wrong with the dealers computer so they couldn't scan the truck to see what the factory code was. A mechanic walked out, opened the passenger door, removed the kick plate, removed the side panel undearneath the glove box, and then shined a flashlight up in an area to see what the code was. So there is a way to get the factory code if you forget it or drop your phone in water, etc.

I love the keypad on mine. I ski a lot and love leaving the key locked in the truck instead of having it in my pocket where it pokes me, or could get lost.

I use it often, mainly to lock the doors.

The keypad is my new favorite option on my King Ranch. The Key FOB is pretty large and I love leaving it in the truck and using the keypad to lock and unlock the doors. I can't see myself carrying the keys in my pocket any longer.

I use mine occasionally. Mostly when I go outside just to grab something out of the back seat after I am home and already unloaded my pockets. Very handy to lock the doors as well without fishing out the fob.

Ahh, now I understand. I was wondering about that. We use the kaypad all the time. It's most useful in situations (hiking, MTBing, racing) where, if I lose my keys (eg middle of the woods, someone runs off with my bag), it would really suuuuck.

My keycode is the same one I had on my Edge previously and is the same as the garage door opener keypad code.
