I live on a dirt road so got the silver but still think of Ruby Red. It is an absolutley amazing color. If the one I test drove had the 6 1/2 bed I would have got it anyway rather than ordering....

I thought I saw another post where the poster was having issues with the Ruby red paint being soft and prone to chipping. Any other experiences with that? Since I can't get flame blue on the platinum, considering the ruby red

Haven't decided. Going to try and go a little lighter than the rear if the law allows it. Also going to 3M ceramic tint all of the windows. The heat out here in Nevada is brutal!

Same here in Arizona.....we can go 33% on sides...Nevada is 35%....see link below.....believe factory rears are around 30-25%, depending on who you talk to...

Can you open tailgate with out lifting the tonneau cover. 2016's come with power tailgate release. Does tail gate open on its own with a painted tonneau cover?
