aren't oil changes at 10K miles? mine has 8500 on it, says another 15% life left on oil etc...?

All depends on use and driving. Me personally I did the first oil change around the 8000km mark just because it's a brandnew motor. I will probably do every 10-12000km mainly because of the free 2 yr oil change plan I got with purchase. 25000 km on my 2.7 the motor has been perfect. 5000 km of that is towing a 7500 lb travel trailer and a 5000 lb snowmobile trailer. Power wise handles it great but you can feel the ford lightness as far as stability.

Now that additional time has past I'd be curious to know who has the most miles on their 2.7 and if they've experienced any issues?

I have less than 4k on mine, no issues and I love it!

43k now. No issues other than the oil leak TSB they did a few months ago and fixed.

I just traded in my 13 explorer that had the 2.7 ecoboost and it popped 78k miles on it.. never had an issue.. Hoping my new 15 f150 runs the same

27k miles only issue has been the oil plug tsb and an hub actuator but that's not engine.

I bought the 100k extended warranty so I'm not worried. Just clicked 1700 miles. Coming from a tuned 3.5 I really like the 2.7.
