Default Whiter headlights without going LED

I hate the yellow tint of the stock headlights. I also don't want to Mickey mouse my truck by cutting dust covers to accommodate cooling straps / heat sinks for a reliable LED setup. Is there a halogen bulb that offers the whiter color like an LED with and increased light output over stock that is plug-and-play?

Sylvania Silverstar Ultra will give you whiter and a little brighter than stock.

If you are going to stick with halogens, do the halogen bulb mod for more light output. You might be happy with the brighter output and no other changes. If you are going to change to bluer bulbs, then you definitely want to do the mod to swap in higher output bulbs.
