I have a 2015 5.0. I removed my valve cover to work on my engine. I am now in the process of reassembly. I just installed new camshaft sensors on the rear of the driver's side head and connected the camshaft sensor cables. I however found a cable that I don't recall where I removed it from (see pic). Is this a ground cable? Can someone please tell me what the cable is for...and where it's supposed to be connected? Thanks so much!

 

I'm going to assume you are not the original owner. If you are referring to the connector with the one black wire, that is not factory. If you look hard you can see the split plastic cover that has been wrapped with electricial tape. Factory does not use that. You will need to trace the wire to find out where it goes.
