My truck was built 4/2/2016 which I knew approximately by following my order online, but this I would say is fairly precise.

I have wanted to know the build date of my truck as well, but was never quite sure.

I purchased it in July/2015. The sticker on the truck has 05/15. The etis site states my build date as 01.06.2015. Is the date format for an American made truck like normal in the U.S. as MM.DD.YYYY, or is in the EU format of DD.MM.YYYY? I don't know if it's January, May, or June 2015.

look at the bottom, it was likely Dec 10, 2015.

My wife's truck has a build date of 10/2016 on the door but ETIS says it was built in 3/2016.
No, really the first number is the day, second month, third year.

if you have the orginal window sitcker, look near the bottom. it has the exact day your truck was built, instead of month/year in the door jamb.
