The wait will be worth it, I needed truck right away so I settled for a 2016 Platinum back at the beginning of October...but if I could have waited a few months I would have definitely gone with a 2017.

Finally got a build date for my 3.5EB/10-speed of January 4th, so it appears they are finally pushing retail orders through! My order was placed early August, and until today has been sitting unscheduled with priority code 01.

Hopefully we start seeing the already built stock orders on the lots soon!

Has anyone heard what the supposive "retrofit" fix is? Or is Ford just saying that and it's really because of excess 2016 inventory? I know there are UAW workers on here, any of you guys have insights? Are you still running your normal schedules or have production hrs been cut?

Fleet orders are held up as well - can't be due to remaining 2016 inventory

From the raptor page, it was motor mounts and something to do with the ten speed. Thats all that was mentioned. No detailed info. I just hope they really fixed the issues.

TV commercial for local dealer had a guy driving a 2017 and bragging on the 10 speed but i didn't see any 10 speeds in the 2017 inventory on their website.

That does not sound promising... hopefully the new 10 speed does not probe to be overly problematic.

Truck was built on Monday and is ready to ship. Dealer told me that he was told by the rep they should be shipping soon and expects mine within the next two weeks. ETA is 12/9 officially, but I somehow think it will be longer!
