Everything I have seen says hitting dealer lots fall 2014. I'd bet the order bank comes online in the august/September timeframe, I think that's when it has been closing/opening the last few model years.

This was awhile back so I'm sure it was just speculation but I read that they might start taking orders as early as July...I hope this is true bc I'm ready to place my order!

IF orders open in July, when would deliveries start? Would they still not be delivered until Sept/Oct?

I got rid of my 2013 Screw in November for a Jaguar and I have regreted it ever since, I will be right at the front of the queue to trade it in for a 2015

I talked to my dealer today and he was thinking '14 will be a short model year. Ford says 4th quarter they will hit the lot so if the lead time is 8-12 weeks like it is now it would be possible for orders to open in July. I've got my name on the list and will either be ordering a king ranch or lariat fx4 the day they open. I have had 4 current gen trucks and can't wait for the new one.

Weren't there articles saying that Ford isn't going to be able to meet their Memorial Day deadline for releasing the truck to the public?

So when does the 2014 production end?

How can you guys be lining up to order something that you know so little about yet?

I think it would be a wise choice to wait until some more info is released such as engines hp/tq numbers. Mpgs of each engine also

Because I know what it looks like inside and out and I'll probably actually touch one before I buy it. As far as motors I've owned 3 ecos, grandpa has had ecos, brother had 5.0's, dad has 5.0, father in law has eco the list goes on. I will skip the 2.7 and stick with the 3.5 Eco. I don't buy a full size truck for mileage and probably never will. Ford had treated me right and I have no problem being the "guinea pig" in something as nice as the 2015 f150. I trade every 11 months because of my job so if something goes horribly wrong I can get out of it soon, but I don't see that happening.
