When breaking, water will shoot up from the upper grille
Has anyone ever had this happen, or know why?
Everytime I am driving in the rain and go to brake, water will literally spray up from the top of the front grille or the front of the hood. Weird and sort of dangerous.

Pretty sure its all in the aerodynamics or the design of the hood- I wonder if lifted trucks still do it?
Its one of a hand-full of annoying things I don't like about this truck- but the least annoying

Pretty sure that has something to do with the active grill shutters opening or closing from what I have read in the past. Changes the aerodynamics when they change and throws water up on the hood.

I haven't noticed this yet, but I'll keep an eye out.
I noticed that after it rains, the roof holds a TON of water and comes pouring down onto the windshield with the first brake application.
Startled me the first time it happened haha

This is the reason why I initially installed an OEM Ford hood deflector. I didn't like that it wasn't secured very well at the front edge of the hood and moved a lot under a car wash's air dryer. Then I installed an AVS AeroSkin II (item 436096) and have not had the spray with either one of these products.
