Wheels out past fenders

IMHO it looks stupid, and is a safety hazard (things flying off the tires)
If a rock got thrown up, you better bet i'm following them to get information for THEIR insurance claim (paint/dents/windshield etc)

For me personally, it's a degree thing, as in "to what degree".
A little poke to widen the stance of a lifted truck? Nice, I dig that look.
The whole damn 12.5" wide tire hanging out in the air? Not so much. But to each his own still applies, jokes aside.

If the damage was enough, I'd just file it with my insurance, give my insurance company the info of their insurance company, and let them fight it out.
I bet the claim wouldn't disappear so easily if another insurance company was doing the inquiry.

The look definitely isn't for everyone. Just like lowering a truck or having the wheels tucked under isn't for everyone. We all make changes to our trucks to make it our own. Some leave them bone stock and all of this is ok. Also, we are all entitled to our own opinion and that's what makes this thread so entertaining.

If it is recorded on a dash cam video, they would be hard pressed to deny it.
Around here the Mehicans like to do silly crap like this, but with tiny 14" wheels and tires that don't fit the rim, on a lifted suspension. Stupidest looking thing I have ever seen. Back in the 90's it was a thing with Civics and Corrollas, and I had replaced countless wheel bearings on them due to the incorrect rims and tires. Parts were warranted, but not the labor. On the invoice in bold letters that we would deny warranty labor with the wheels and tires that are on the car due to the extreme offset. This way if they went bad again and it came back in with regular wheels it would raise a red flag.
