Wheels out past fenders

Is haveing the wheel/tire extending out past the fenders the new fad? We saw a new F250 today that had half the tire out. It was so new that it still had the paper tag on it.

Nothing new. Just the young and dumb making it easier for the old and wise to identify them at a distance.

Stupid trend by “bros”

Flings rocks onto nearby drivers and wears out wheels bearings.

Probably a fad, but not a new one. It's a stance that some people like. Just like any other mod, it's not for everyone. Done right, I think it looks great.

Agreed. I kinda like the look, but I'm a tad biased. Lol.

In most, if not all states tires/wheels need to be within the bodywork. That has been so since after WW II when hot rodders were chopping fenders to save weight. That is why they make fender flares. IMO, it's not a good look.
