My thoughts. The wheels well protectors are of a smoother finish and probably don't hold on to dirt as well as line-x on the other hand has a nice deadening quality to it. If money is plays into your decision, I don't think you can beat the price of the OEM liners.

Went with OEM, which I thought should have been standard..

Same as the tailgate damper kit. Probably only costs the manufacturer a few dollars for the parts. Seems silly to have to add them to a $50k truck. Both features were standard on my old SR5 Tundra ten years ago.

I went with the Husky liners on mine. They cover a bit more area than the OEM ones and were a few $$ cheaper as well.

OEM after reading husky didn't line up so good. I will put them on soon.

Linex, no, only reason I see for a liner is to hide the ugly gap. There are those that will argue it protects from dirt/mud. It still gets in, just don't see it.

it makes the truck look more finished IMO, there's a liner in the front wheel well, why not the back?
